A. Conrad Gliniecki Jr.

A. Conrad Gliniecki, Jr., 65, of Ossineke, passed away at home on Sunday, November 9, 2008.

He was born in Bad Axe, MI on May 24, 1943 to August and Lillian (Maikrzek) Gliniecki, and married Mary E. Rosek on December 1, 1990. Conrad was employed at Mr. Ed's I.G.A. for 21 years, retiring in 2007.

He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and loved playing cards, gardening, trains, and traveling.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; 3 children, Judi Gliniecki of Warsaw, Poland, René (Jeffrey) Olson of Newtown, CT, Amy and Reid Will of Posen; 3 grandchildren, Paige and Claire Olson, Natalia Szeremeta; 2 sisters, Kathleen (Cal) Harris, Anita (Robert) Gliniecki -Dombroski; mother-in-law, Lois Rosek; and his dog, Opie.

Preceding him in death was a sister, Judith.

Mr. Gliniecki is at the Bannan Funeral Home where family and friends may call on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and will continue Thursday at Hope Lutheran Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Herbert Kitzman officiating.
