Alice Dolores Kowalski

Alice Dolores Kowalski, 80, of 1249 Long Rapids Rd., Alpena passed away Sunday November 2, 2008 at Tendercare - Alpena.

Born Alice Dolores Romel on March 15, 1928 in Presque Isle and married Frederick A. Kowalski December 18, 1959 in Alpena. She was a member of the Elks Auxiliary #505, Alpena Eagles 1241 Auxiliary and loved to play Bingo.

Surviving are her husband Fred; 3 children: JoAnn Kowalski, Kenneth (Denise) Kowalski and Robert Tolsdorf all of Alpena; 9 grandchildren: Lee Duncan, Shannon Baumgart, Jasmine Kowalski, Kevin Kowalski, Krystal Kowalski, David Lozano, Tina Lozano, Jennifer Tolsdorf, Richard Tolsdorf; 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Judy (Larry) Ewing of Alpena, Janice (Eugene) Meredith of Shelby Township; 1 brother Gerald (Ann) Tolsdorf of Linden; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kowalski was preceded in death by parents Bert and Helen Tolsdorf, son David and brother Larry Tolsdorf.

Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Greg McCallum officiating.
