On 8/4/08 at approximately 10:30P a 26 year old Alpena man was arrested at an Alpena Twp., residence. The male had 10 outstanding warrants out of Alpena County. The male resisted arrest and was tasered by Troopers. The male was lodged in the Alpena County Jail on the outstanding warrants and a new charge of Resisting and Obstructing.
Since 8/1/08 to present, Alpena Troopers have arrested 7 male fugitives, 1 female fugitive and three OWI's.

OWI is operating while intoxicated, OWVI is operating while visibly impaired. OUI is being fazed out.
