On August 5, 2012, Mary Anna (Amante) Richards, age 73, of Rogers City, left this world to receive her wings in heaven. During her lifetime she made this world a better place for all those that knew her. Her inner kindness and unique sense of humor inspired everyone. In her final days she was surrounded by her loving family and close friends. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Douglas Richards, her son, William (Rose), of Montgomery, AL, her daughter, Brenda (Tim) Luebke, of Rogers City, sister Katy Amante Worrell (John), of Biloxi, MS, her brother John Amante (Barb)of Grand Rapids, MI, and her brother, Robert Amante (Peggy) , of Victorville, CA. She is also survived by grandchildren: Kristy Luebke and Kira Luebke both of Alpena, MI., Emil Luebke and Nick Luebke of Rogers City, Andrew Richards of Fort Hood, TX., Katie Young of Hartsell, AL., Bethany Allred of Trinity, AL. Great-grand-children Seth, Emma, Braxton, Kaleen, Aniya, Austin, and Keeleigh.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Zilda Amante Davis, father, Thomas J. Amante, and brother Thomas D. Amante.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Mary Anna’s many special friends who were so supportive.

Visitation will be held at Beck Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 7th from 5-8 PM , with a private burial at a later date.
