An Alpena man has been sentenced to prison for failing to abide by the terms of his probation.

Daniel Wininger was sentenced in May 2011, for delivering the prescription drug percocet.

The 27 year-old was placed on probation and ordered to follow a set of rules to avoid a longer stay behind bars.

Last week, Wininger was in court for violating the terms of his probation.  He did not complete the required number of community service hours and failed to report to his probation agent.  As a result, 26th Circuit Court Judge Michael Mack sentenced Wininger to an additional 18 months to 20 years in prison.
