SAILOR CEREAL  

 

Part A:

 

1/3 c. wheat flakes

1/3 c. water

Bring 1/3 cup of water to boil. Add 1/3 cup wheat flakes and simmer for 5 minutes.

Part B:

 

3 c. water

1 c. wheat berries

1 c. bulgur

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix contents of B and put in a pressure cooker. Boil at 15 for 18 minutes. Cool and refrigerate.

To part A add 1/3 cup of cooled B. Stir to consistency of concrete.

 

Wheat berry refers to the entire wheat kernel except for the hull.

 Bulgur is a cereal food made from wheat.
