My name is Sherman because I’m built like a little tank! I was found as a tiny little pup at the school playground, wanted to be with kids my own age and go to school to learn. The school thought differently; that wasn’t a place for pups and my cuteness was too much of a distraction for all of the kids so I had to come to the shelter. I was so darn cute they thought it wouldn’t take long to find me a great home but I’m still here at the shelter and I sure don’t want to finish growing up here. I can say I’m out of that needle teeth stage and have learned what good things to chew on are. I’m a smart boy and still very cute but as I grow bigger I’m moving more towards the very handsome stages. I play with lots of different dogs here; they have been teaching me how to play nice but I still like to play, play, play; isn’t that what kids like to do? Anyway, I have had all the more important things taken care of like getting neutered, getting all my shots and getting a microchip but the very most important thing is getting me a home! A home is the one thing I am missing. Yes I’m a pit bull terrier and that means I’m smart, I love people and have gotten lots of experience with other dogs. I will make a great addition to someone or some family, I’m getting into the age that I can pay attention long enough to learn things, heck I’ve already learned “sit” while here at the shelter. Won’t you come to meet me and maybe take me home with you – no pup should ever have to grow up in a shelter no matter how nice – a shelter is still not a “home”. You can call the shelter if you want more information on me 989-785-3738
