An Ossineke man charged with involuntary manslaughter is out on bail and was in court Monday, on a different matter.

Steven William Wilson, 27, is charged with larceny of $1,000 but less than $20,000.  He stood mute to the charge and is scheduled to be back in court on March 5.  No details of that incident were revealed.

Wilson is the same man linked to the January 9 death of 48 year-old Jeff Mousseau.  The two shared a house on Old Ossineke Road, where Mousseau was found dead.

Wilson faces up to 15 years in prison and/or a $7,500 fine if convicted of involuntary manslaughter.  He is awaiting a preliminary examination on that charge.
