Donna May Dean, 75, of 126 N. Franklin Street, Alpena passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Alpena Regional Medical Center.
 
Donna was born in Alpena on February 21, 1936 to the late Irwin and Esther (Buczkowski) Dean.  She worked at a nurse at Alpena General Hospital before moving to Bay Medical Center, retiring in 1998.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Rosary Group #14, and she enjoyed knitting.
 
Surviving are 1 brother, Patrick Dean of AuGres; 1 sister, Mary Winton of Alpena; several nieces and nephews.
 
Ms. Dean was preceded in death by a brother Norbert Joseph Dean in 1953.
 
Ms. Dean is at St. Mary Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Greka officiating.  Arrangements are being handled with the Bannan Funeral Home.
