Frank Henry LaFave

Frank Henry LaFave, 88, of Spruce passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2010 at the home of his daughter.
 
Born in Montmorency County on January 7, 1922 to the late Frank and Pauline (Mytko) LaFave, and married Doris Millard on July 4, 1953.  She preceded him in death on May 12, 1992.
 
He was a very special grandfather.  All of his grandchildren were close and loved him dearly.  He will be sadly missed by all.
 
Frank is survived by  seven children: Susan (Jerry) Smith, Cheryl (Rick) Fenstermaker, Howard LaFave, Pam LaFave, Rick (Anita) LaFave, Joann (Jerry) Howay, Timberly (Bryan) Daoust; 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 4 step brothers: Adolph Frieburger, William Mitko, John Mytko, Harry Mytko and 1 step sister: Clara; 1 special foster sister: Carla; special ex-daughter-in-law Mary Weir; several nieces, nephews; special pets: Millie and Ollie.
 
Mr. LaFave was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Albert and Lawrence LaFave, step brother: Joe Mytko.
 
Mr. LaFave is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Steve Hammond officiating.
 
Interment: Pilgrims Rest Cemetery
 
Memorials: Alpena Free Clinic, Hospice of Sunrise Shore or to the LaFave Family.
